YOURPOP SHIRTS 1.0.3 — INSTALLATION AND EDITING GUIDE

1. INSTALL OR UPDATE THE THEME

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes > Add New Theme > Upload Theme. Select yourpop-shirts-1.0.3-theme.zip and click Install Now.

For a new installation, activate the theme after installation. When updating an existing YourPop Shirts installation, choose “Replace current with uploaded” when prompted.

The theme folder name, yourpop-shirts, and the original setting keys are unchanged. Updating the same theme preserves saved text, images, accent color, product category, menu assignments, and logo. New settings default to the previous appearance. The theme contains no routines that rewrite products, orders, pages, or plugin settings.

Any direct edits to theme files will be overwritten during the update, as with a normal theme update.

2. OPEN THE EDITOR

Go to Appearance > Customize. Make your changes, preview them, and click Publish to save.

All theme-provided Customizer panels, labels, and instructions are in English. WordPress and plugin interface languages follow their own settings.

3. MENUS, ACCOUNT, AND CART

Menus:
Use Appearance > Menus, or Customize > Menus, to edit menu labels, links, item order, and items. Assign your menus to Main navigation and Footer navigation.

Fallback menu labels:
If no main menu is assigned, the theme displays its default shop and “How it works” links. Edit their labels in “YourPop Shirts — Header & Footer”.

Account and Cart labels:
Edit them in the Header & Footer panel. Their destinations remain the WooCommerce My Account and Cart pages.

Visibility:
Use “YourPop Shirts — Visibility & Order” to show or hide the main menu, Account, Cart, and footer menu. Account and Cart are available when WooCommerce is active.

4. HOMEPAGE TEXT, IMAGES, AND BUTTONS

Open “YourPop Shirts — Homepage” to edit:
- Announcement text.
- Hero eyebrow, heading, introduction, and main button label.
- Main button URL through Create button URL. Leave it blank to use the shop page.
- Hero image through Hero image, plus the image label and tag.
- Hero secondary link label and URL.
- Collection eyebrow, heading, introduction, and shop link label and URL.
- Homepage product category.
- Story eyebrow, heading, text, and image through Story image.
- Story button label and URL. Leave either blank to use the corresponding main button setting.
- Fallback poster text, used when no story image is selected.
- Three-step section eyebrow, heading, step titles, and descriptions.
- Footer description through Footer.
- Accent color.

If Hero image or Story image is unset, the theme uses its built-in illustration or poster. Product images, names, and prices are edited separately under Products > All Products.

5. SHOW OR HIDE CONTENT

In the Visibility & Order panel, use the checkboxes to show or hide:
- Hero, collection, story, three-step section, and homepage page content.
- Announcement bar.
- Main menu, Account, and Cart.
- Hero main button, hero secondary link, collection link, and story button.
- Entire footer, footer menu, and privacy link.

The announcement bar is also hidden when its text is empty.

6. CHANGE SECTION ORDER

In the Visibility & Order panel, find “Homepage section order”. Enter section keys separated by commas.

Default order:
hero,collection,story,steps,content

Example with the collection first:
collection,hero,steps,story,content

Keys:
- hero: Main image and introductory content.
- collection: Product collection.
- story: Story image and copy.
- steps: Three-step explanation.
- content: Content from the page assigned as your homepage.

Duplicate and unknown keys are removed. Omitted sections are added at the end. To hide a section, use its visibility checkbox rather than removing its key.

The content section appears only when a static page is used as the homepage and that page has content.

7. FOOTER AND ANNOUNCEMENT BAR

In the Header & Footer panel, edit:
- Footer brand name. Leave blank to use the site title.
- Copyright text. Leave blank to display the current year and site title.
- Privacy link label and URL. Leave the URL blank to use the WordPress privacy policy page.
- Announcement link URL. Leave blank for a text-only announcement.

Edit the footer description and announcement text in the Homepage panel. Manage footer links through the Footer navigation menu.

Edit the site title under Settings > General and the logo under Customize > Site Identity.

8. PRODUYPSTD AND THE T-SHIRT DESIGNER

The homepage collection displays up to eight recent published products and respects the selected product category.

WooCommerce is required for product sales. WC T-Shirt Studio is required separately for the custom T-shirt designer. This theme does not include the designer plugin or its premium features.

When WC T-Shirt Studio is installed and enabled for a product, the existing integration directs customers to the product page and places the designer below the product summary. Configure sizes, colors, print images, and pricing under WooCommerce > T-Shirt Studio.

9. REQUIREMENTS AND VALIDATION

Theme requirements: WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.1 or later. WooCommerce is required for store features; WC T-Shirt Studio is required separately for custom design features.

For this update, all PHP files passed syntax checks under PHP 8.3. Execution tests using stand-ins for WordPress functions checked unchanged default HTML (apart from whitespace), saved settings, visibility, section order, independent buttons, escaped text, Customizer setting registration, and the footer hook when the footer is hidden. CSS is unchanged except for the version header. Studio integration code is unchanged.

This update has not been installed or visually tested on a live WordPress/WooCommerce site. Checkout and payment processing have not been tested as part of this update.

10. THEME PREVIEW IMAGE

The supplied storefront screenshot is included as screenshot.png in the theme folder. WordPress uses it for the theme card under Appearance > Themes and for Theme Details after installation. This preview image does not set the site title or homepage hero image; those remain controlled by your saved settings.

YourPop Shirts 1.0.5: Supports standalone Free 2.1.12 and Pro 2.1.12, including responsive brand size guides. Activate only one Studio edition at a time. Customizer settings and WooCommerce data are retained. Migrate any direct theme-source edits before replacing the ZIP.
